What are Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are popular cosmetic treatments used to restore volume and fullness to the face, smooth out lines and wrinkles, and enhance facial contours. These injectable treatments offer a non-surgical solution for achieving a more youthful appearance with immediate results.

Types of Dermal Fillers We Offer:

  1. Hyaluronic Acid Fillers: These fillers use hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the skin known for its ability to retain moisture. Hyaluronic acid fillers are highly effective for adding volume to the lips, cheeks, and around the eyes, as well as smoothing out wrinkles and folds. The results typically last between 6 to 18 months, depending on the specific product used and the area treated.

  2. Radiesse (Hydroxyapatite-Based Fillers): Radiesse is a filler made from Calcium Hydroxyapatite, a substance found naturally in human bones. This type of filler is used for deeper lines and wrinkles and provides structural support to the skin. Radiesse not only fills in wrinkles but also stimulates the body’s own collagen production. The results from Radiesse are long-lasting, often remaining effective for 12 to 18 months or longer.

Both types of fillers have their unique advantages, depending on the specific needs and goals of the patient. Hyaluronic acid fillers are versatile and reversible, while Radiesse offers longer-lasting results and can be particularly effective for deeper wrinkles and volume loss.

Lip Enhancement

Lip fillers are a popular aesthetic treatment designed to enhance the volume and definition of the lips using injectable dermal fillers, commonly comprised of hyaluronic acid. This substance, naturally found in the body, helps to increase volume and promote hydration. The procedure involves strategically injecting the filler into parts of the lip and surrounding areas to create more fullness, define the lip contours, or correct asymmetry. Results are immediate and can last from six months to a year, depending on the type of filler used and individual factors such as metabolism rate. The process is minimally invasive with minimal downtime, allowing patients to resume their daily activities shortly after treatment.

Cheek Filler

Cheek fillers are cosmetic treatments that use injectable dermal fillers to enhance and add volume to the cheeks. This procedure is ideal for those looking to restore lost volume due to aging, or for individuals seeking more defined cheekbones. The fillers commonly used contain hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the skin known for its hydrating and volumising properties.

The treatment involves injecting the filler beneath the skin surface in targeted areas to achieve a more youthful and lifted appearance. Results are visible immediately after the procedure, providing a smoother and fuller look that can last from six months to two years, depending on the type of filler used and individual factors like metabolism.

Cheek fillers offer a minimally invasive alternative to surgical enhancements, with minimal downtime and immediate return to daily activities. They also allow for a controlled approach to facial contouring, where adjustments can be made gradually over multiple sessions to achieve the desired outcome.

Chin filler is a cosmetic procedure that uses injectable dermal fillers to enhance and reshape the chin area. This treatment is ideal for those looking to improve the definition of their chin or to achieve better facial symmetry. Hyaluronic acid-based fillers are commonly used due to their effectiveness and compatibility with the body.

The process involves injecting the filler directly into targeted areas of the chin to add volume, project forward, or smooth out irregularities. The results are immediate, providing a more balanced and proportionate facial profile. The effects of chin fillers can last from six months to two years, depending on the type of filler used, the individual's metabolism, and the injection technique.

Jawline contouring with dermal fillers is a popular non-surgical aesthetic procedure aimed at enhancing the definition and shape of the jawline. This treatment is suitable for individuals looking to achieve a more pronounced and sculpted jawline or to balance facial proportions.

The procedure involves injecting hyaluronic acid-based fillers along the mandible (jawbone), focusing on areas that lack definition or volume. These fillers provide immediate volume and sculpting, enhancing the natural contour of the jawline.

Liquid (non-surgical) Rhinoplasty

A liquid nose job, or non-surgical rhinoplasty, utilises dermal fillers to alter and shape a person's nose without invasive surgery. This treatment is an excellent option for individuals seeking to smooth out bumps, reshape the nasal tip, or improve nasal symmetry quickly and with minimal downtime.

The procedure involves injecting hyaluronic acid-based fillers into precise areas of the nose to achieve the desired contouring effect. The results are immediate, and while not permanent, they can last between six months to over a year depending on the ndividual's response to the treatment.

Tear Trough Filler ( “sunken eyes”)

Tear trough filler is a specialised cosmetic treatment aimed at addressing the hollows that can form under the eyes due to aging or genetic factors. This area, known as the tear trough, can make individuals appear tired or older due to shadowing and thinning skin.

How It Works:
The procedure involves injecting a hyaluronic acid-based dermal filler beneath the skin in the under-eye area. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance in the skin that helps retain moisture and adds volume. When injected into the tear troughs, it helps to plump up the area, reducing hollows and dark circles, and creating a smoother transition between the under-eye area and the cheeks.

30 minutes - £320.00

Dermal Filler Dissolving

Dissolving dermal fillers is a procedure that involves the injection of an enzyme called hyaluronidase, which breaks down hyaluronic acid-based fillers. This treatment is used when there is a need to correct or remove fillers that have caused undesirable results or complications, such as lumps, asymmetry, or overfilling.

Hyaluronidase is carefully injected into the areas where the hyaluronic acid fillers have been previously placed. The enzyme quickly breaks down the hyaluronic acid chains in the fillers, effectively dissolving the gel-like substance and allowing the body to absorb it.

Multiple sessions might be required, depending on how the body reacts to the treatment and of how much filler its present.

Our Work
  • What are Dermal Fillers?
Over time as our skin ages and loses its youthfulness. Many people become aware of wrinkles and lines that can age them, making them appear tired and less attractive. Dermal fillers are a regenerative treatment, which can define, restore and enhance the face while respecting the unique anatomy and character that makes you.
  • What treatments can I have?
Dermal fillers are injected just under the skin to plump out lines and to add volume where needed. The dermal filler comprises of a gel made from hyaluronic acid, a substance that occurs naturally in the body. This makes it a very safe product to use. Areas such as the cheeks, chin and jawline can be enhanced to create a contoured look. Volume can be added to the lips, cheeks or the under eye area. Deeper lines such as nose to mouth, mouth to chin and smoker lines can be dramatically softened. The results are instantly visible and generally last 6-9 months, sometimes longer and require no maintenance.
  • Are there any side effects or risks?
There may be some redness, swelling and bruising after the treatment which can take a few days to resolve. Whilst dermal fillers are medically safe the treatment may not be not be suitable for certain patients. A full medical consultation will be carried out with the doctor to ensure the procedure is safe to carry out.
  • How long does the result last?
Results are apparent immediately after the procedure, so you leave the clinic with an immediate improvement. Most dermal fillers will last between six to 18 months, depending on which filler is used and how your body responds to the treatment.
